UMBRA - HNU WINTER GAMEJAM 2024 WINNER

UMBRA is a Top-Down 3D science fiction horror survival game.

The game UMBRA, which was originally created as a 2.5D project as part of the HNU Game Jam, was converted into a full 3D version for Games.Kickstart. Both versions are available for download.

In the game, you take on the role of a technician working aboard a spaceship owned by Umbra Corp. After a failed experiment, the power goes out, and the ship is overrun by monstrous creatures. Your only defense is a flashlight, as the creatures are highly sensitive to light. Sneak through the dark corridors, avoid danger, and restore the power to ensure your survival.

The science fiction horror survival game UMBRA is the result of a collaborative project by Lars Gohde, Sebastian Dreschmann, Arthur Bondarenko, and Kevin Bruno. The Original-Version was developed in just 48 hours during the first Game Jam at the Neu-Ulm University of Applied Sciences.
